She's never been shy, and now Miley Cyrus has posed totally nude in a new photo spread.

The provocative pop star, 22, wore nothing but a smile as she posed backstage at her infamous MTV Video Music Awards hosting gig in the December issue of V.

The singer flashed a big grin and twirled her long blonde dreadlocks while perching naked in a director's chair in the issue, which hits newsstands on November 12.

The former Disney child star wore blue peace-sign earrings and showed off the many tattoos on her torso and arms while backstage at the MTV VMAs, which took place on August 30.

Miley hosted the chaotic show, which saw her flash her breast backstage, hit on a crying Justin Bieber and come under fire from Nicki Minaj.

The show also included Miley's performance of her new single Dooo It! with her band Dead Petz, while bringing a group of drag queens out on stage to dance with her.
